A request for a variance or special exception shall be submitted in writing by the property owner or authorized agent to the town manager and be accompanied by the documents, plans, specifications and other material needed to clarify and support the request and an application fee of $200.00. Upon determining that the request is complete and supported with sufficient information to make clear the specific request, the town manager shall forward the request to the town council or board of adjustment and schedule a public hearing for consideration of the request.
